On this blog I will post pictures of old postcards from Malaya and Malaysia, postcards are fascinating because they display the land beautifully and the way that people thought at the time. Some are painted and some are photographs, but all are wonderful.I want to show the beauty and splendor of old Malaya and how different Malaya/Malaysia was back then. These postcards will most likely be dated between 1900 and 1960, but I may post up some newer or older postcards if they are interesting. A postcard of the Main Convent Ipoh, it is among the first schools set up in Ipoh and is now known as SMK Main Convent, Ipoh. It was set up in 1907. Date of postcard is unknown.
